Recently, Vietnam Report coordinated with VietNamNet Newspaper to announce the top 500 Largest Vietnamese Enterprises called VNR 500 2023 Ranking (VNR500). In particular, Kim Tin Group has climbed 54 spots compared to 2022 and 302 spots compared to 2008.
Kim Tin ranked 110th in the Top 500 largest private Vietnamese enterprises.
During the initial nine months of 2023, the global economy continued to grapple with numerous difficulties and challenges. Most economies experienced lower-than-expected growth due to a decline in aggregate demand, while inflation, although under control, remained at elevated levels. Monetary policies tightened, and world public debt reached unprecedented heights. The military conflict between Russia and Ukraine grew increasingly complex, alongside rising geopolitical instability, food security concerns, escalating natural disasters, and the pressing issue of climate change.
Vietnam's economy was not exempt from these challenges. In the first nine months of 2023, its GDP registered a modest growth of 4.24% compared to the same period in 2022, surpassing the growth rates of 2.19% and 1.57% recorded during the first nine months of 2020 and 2021, respectively—two years heavily affected by the pandemic. Nonetheless, as reported by the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, the industrial and construction sector remained a pivotal driver of economic development, achieving a growth rate of 5.19% and contributing 38.63% to the total added value of the entire economy.
The ranking result in the VNR500 Ranking shows that Kim Tin Group's production and business activities are still maintained steady. Kim Tin Group's revenue in 2022 reached 6,995 billion VND and the accumulated revenue of the first 9 months of 2023 was 4,429 billion VND. This will be the driving force for the development of Kim Tin group in both scale and quality to bring the best products to domestic and foreign customers.
