Kim Tin and Vyncke NV signed contracts for two 144MW energy center.
The first contract for two energy centers of Kim Tin MDF Chon Thanh and Kim Tin Dong Nai plants was signed by Kim Tin Group at 16:00 on December 1st, 2021 in California, USA, with the approval of the Chairman of Kim Tin Group and the delegation of specialists from the two parties. Each energy center with a 72MW capacity is made in Europe. Contracts are signed to guarantee the quality of the machinery, the output, and the project's advancement.
Vyncke NV Group is the world's leading energy center manufacturing group established in 1912, headquartered in Belgium, specializing in providing thermal and energy solutions for industrial plants around the world.
With a total building area of 651,281.02 m2 that includes a factory and warehouse for leasing as well as dormitories, the Kim Tin MDF Chon Thanh factory and Kim Tin Dong Nai factory have a capacity of 1,000,000 m3/year and a total investment of up to 350 million USD.

The warehouse system for leasing of these two projects is anticipated to be operational in the second quarter of 2022. The first product from the Kim Tin MDF Chon Thanh factory is anticipated to be released in the second quarter of 2023, and the first product from the Kim Tin Dong Nai factory is anticipated to be released in the first quarter of 2024. Kim Tin MDF Chon Thanh factory and Kim Tin Dong Nai factory will provide the southern provinces with MDF products of various types and sizes. In addition to adding jobs for thousands of local residents and the surrounding area, the two factories will boost state revenue by more than 20,000 billion dong over the course of 50 years and support socioeconomic growth in the area.
In 2023, Kim Tin will also continue to invest in two MDF factories, one in the Central region and one in the North, each with a capacity of 400,000 m3 to reach the goal that by 2025, Kim Tin's total capacity to supply the market with MDF boards is 2,300,000 m3, or 45% of the market share in the nation.
