After more than 200 challenging days, Kim Tin's comprehensive digital transformation project has entered the final stage and is preparing to launch the SAP S/4HANA system, which is scheduled for February 10, 2022.
Kim Tin Group has been in existence for over 21 years, during which time it has made constant efforts and remained firm in its pursuit of the objective of sustainable development. A powerful, advanced, and synchronized digital transformation is anticipated as a result of the complete digital transformation project, which will help Kim Tin remain one of the top private economic groups in Vietnam and provide value.
The comprehensive digital transformation project's go-live date was originally set for January 1, 2022, however Kim Tin decided to push back the go-live date till February 10th, 2022 in order to have a more thorough preparation:
- Go-live date for the wood companies - FSC, MDF and Flooring: February 10th, 2022
- Go-live date for the trading companies: April, 2022
- Go-live date for the welding materials companies: May, 2022
Although seven months with the Project Board is not a long time, it is enough for the Kim Tin family to sense the members' constant efforts and unspoken sacrifices. They put in more than 12 hours a day, seven days a week, but they always give it their all. All for the benefit of the Group's overarching objective, which is to successfully execute the Project.
The environment was lively and exciting throughout the recent training period because everyone from BPO, Key User to End User was highly engaged, passionate, and contributed with enthusiasm.

The SAP S/4HANA system is a complete synchronous solution that enables all participants to actively manage, share, and monitor their activity. Because of this, we are able to effortlessly govern the daily flow of information regardless of its size. However, in order to truly understand a complex system that many firms have implemented but are unable to run efficiently, we need to put in actual effort and work harder.
I wish the Project Board of the comprehensive digital transformation project good health and success in achieving the targets set for the new year, 2022.
